NeevCloud®, India’s first AI SuperCloud., has appointed Vijayakumar as Head of Engineering & Product Development – AI effective June 2025. With more than 18+ years of experience across leadership roles, Vijayakumar will be leading NeevCloud’s Engineering and Product teams to build a full-stack AI ecosystem supporting the company’s mission to democratize Artificial Intelligence by delivering a true end-to-end AI platform that’s accessible, affordable, and infinitely scalable.

In his new role as Head of Engineering & Product Development – AI at NeevCloud, Vijayakumar will lead the development of a full-stack AI ecosystem that transforms advanced research into practical, real-world solutions. His focus will be on NeevCloud’s commitment to inclusive progress. Under Vijayakumar’s leadership, NeevCloud® will strengthen its alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives, while accelerating innovation and delivering technical excellence.

With a strong track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, Vijayakumar brings deep expertise across cloud technologies – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, edge computing, cloud native platforms, and AI. Prior to joining NeevCloud, Vijayakumar served as a Senior Engineering Manager at VMware. He has also held leadership roles at OVHCloud and Sify Technologies, where he contributed significantly to scaling infrastructure and driving innovation.
He has successfully led global engineering teams with his leadership philosophy emphasizing on platform thinking, developer-centric design, and secure software development practices. Coupled with a commitment to inclusive leadership and a culture of continuous learning, this approach has enabled him to foster high-performing teams and deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions.
Vijayakumar holds multiple professional certifications in virtualization and cloud technologies, backed by a solid academic foundation that includes a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Computer Science degree from Anna University, Chennai and a Master’s in Business Administration, Systems from Madras University, Chennai. A passionate technology evangelist, he is a regular speaker at leading forums, where he actively engages in exploring and promoting emerging technologies.
