Violin Technologies has welcomed Shankar Venkatesan as its CISO and Vice-President of IT. Shankar, who has over 25 years of expertise in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and IT infrastructure, will be in charge of the organization’s IT and information security operations, making sure that technological plans closely match business goals.
Shankar will spearhead projects in his new role that will improve Violin’s Group SAP systems, strengthen its cybersecurity posture, and promote automation across the company. He had previously held top leadership positions at Avalon Technologies, where he oversaw IT and InfoSec in complex enterprise systems and multi-cloud settings.
Shankar is expected to be a major force behind innovation and resilience at Violin Technologies in the Manufacturing and EMS space because to his knowledge in data centers, Zero Trust architecture, vulnerability management, and SAP security.
