In a move that signals its renewed focus on expanding consumer-facing verticals beyond the automobile space, OLX India has brought back industry veteran Olive Sen as Chief Business Officer for its Horizontal Business Unit. This division covers a broad spectrum of high-demand segments such as real estate, jobs, mobiles, electronics, and more.
With a career built on innovation and strategy in the digital marketplace space, Olive steps into this role with over ten years of hands-on leadership experience. A significant part of this journey has been spent at OLX Group, where he led key functions like product, marketing, and analytics. His efforts played a vital role in boosting platform engagement, monetization, and user retention.
Before returning to OLX, Olive was the Chief Product Officer at a workforce management company and also held leadership positions at Thinkfoods.in and NYX. An IIT Kharagpur alumnus, he began his career in engineering and consulting roles at renowned organizations like Nissan Motors and ZS Associates, which laid the foundation for his later transition into tech product leadership.
Mr. Vinay Sanghi, Chairman and Founder of CarTrade Tech, shared his excitement, saying, “We are excited to welcome Olive back to OLX.
