Tasked with spearheading the company’s “Industry First Repeatable Solutions” initiative, Dr. Dhakar will focus on scaling AI-driven innovation that solves real-world business problems and delivers tangible value across industries.
With a career deeply rooted in strategic foresight and digital evolution, Dr. Dhakar joins HCLTech after serving as Chief Principal Consultant for GenAI at a major tech firm. There, he played an instrumental role in shaping a secure and scalable GenAI ecosystem and was closely involved with the CEO Office to lead breakthrough growth initiatives. His leadership has enabled responsible AI transformation for clients worldwide.
Before this, he contributed to the growth journey of various firms. At a software and solutions provider, he drove SaaS development and key alliances. During his tenure at a leading mobility platform, he led strategic planning and customer experience design for Ola SPL, while also working with government bodies on electric vehicle adoption strategies.
His earlier leadership at Palladium involved overseeing enterprise sales and consulting for large transformation programs, smart city missions, and skill development platforms for Fortune 500 companies. He also brought strategic clarity and operational improvements during his time at a global airport and a major tyre manufacturer, leading programs in business transformation and retail expansion.
Dr. Dhakar started his career in ERP consulting and holds an MBA in Marketing and IT Management from NMIMS. Known for his insights into AI integration, digital strategy, and enterprise transformation, his entry into HCLTech comes at a time when industries are embracing intelligent automation to stay ahead.
His new journey marks another chapter in HCLTech’s quest to deliver future-ready solutions powered by GenAI, aimed at reshaping how industries operate, innovate, and grow.
