In this pivotal role, Ram will lead strategic efforts to advance specialized solutions that enable value-driven transformation for clients worldwide.
Ram’s career, spanning over twenty-five years, is a testament to his mastery in enterprise technology, global sales strategies, and navigating diverse regional markets. His journey at Tech Mahindra has been remarkable, with over fifteen years of progressively senior leadership. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head for India, Middle East, and Africa, where he successfully expanded cross-regional operations and strengthened partner networks.
Prior to this, Ram led the Middle East and Africa region as Senior Vice President based in Dubai, steering numerous impactful digital transformation initiatives. His reputation was built early on as General Manager and Head of Enterprise for the Middle East and Africa, driving scalable IT solutions and consulting projects that propelled growth.
Before rising through Tech Mahindra’s ranks, Ram was the Vice President and Head of Sales for ASEAN, operating out of Singapore. His pre-Tech Mahindra career includes significant roles at global technology firms where he gained valuable exposure to markets in the United States, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.
Ram’s professional roots trace back to Southern Petrochemicals, where he began as an engineer and engineering management trainee, laying the foundation for a leadership style grounded in operational excellence and strategic vision.
In his new role, Ram Ramachandran is set to advance Tech Mahindra’s specialist sales approach, focusing on high-growth sectors while aligning with the company’s commitment to digital innovation and sustainable transformation.
