In a flavorful move to spice up its brand presence, Burger King® has officially brought Joel Yashinsky on board as the Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S. and Canada. With the “Reclaim the Flame” strategy already igniting momentum in partnership with franchisees, Yashinsky’s arrival marks a bold next step in fanning the fire of brand revival.
Tom Curtis, President of Burger King U.S. & Canada, shared his excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Joel to the Burger King leadership team and the broader BK family. Joel joins us at an exciting time for the brand, and brings the ideal mix of strategic marketing experience, brand-building creativity, and leadership expertise to help fuel our next chapter.”
Yashinsky enters this royal kitchen with an impressive menu of marketing credentials. Before this new appointment, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at a well-known American casual dining chain. Prior to that, he spent nearly 20 years in senior-level marketing roles with one of the globe’s largest fast-food giants, where he shaped campaigns that became part of pop culture across North America.
In his new role, Yashinsky is expected to lead the brand’s marketing vision with passion and precision, aiming to cook up stronger customer connections and drive long-term growth in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. He will be working closely with franchise partners to make sure that every campaign not only resonates with guests but also boosts the brand’s footprint and flavor in the highly competitive quick-service space.
With Yashinsky stepping into this pivotal role, the flame under Burger King’s throne is set to burn even brighter.
