Tech Mahindra teams up with SpaceXSI to accelerate AI-driven software development

As businesses look to modernise older systems and develop software faster, Indian IT services company Tech Mahindra has partnered with SpaceXSI to bring AI-powered solutions to enterprise clients.

Announced on Thursday, the partnership will use AI to help organisations modernise legacy applications and speed up software development. Tech Mahindra will also introduce the Grok Build chatbot to develop solutions tailored to specific industries.

The collaboration will focus on key sectors, including technology, telecommunications and banking and financial services. The aim is to help businesses address industry-specific needs through AI-driven software development and application modernisation.

Tech Mahindra, India’s 5th-largest IT services firm, already has similar partnerships involving Google Gemini and Microsoft technologies. However, this marks the 1st time an Indian IT major has partnered with the AI division of SpaceX, the rocket manufacturing company.

The partnership reflects the growing role of AI in enterprise software development, particularly as organisations seek faster ways to update legacy systems and build solutions suited to their business requirements.
