Skyroot Aerospace, an Indian space technology company developing launch vehicles and affordable access to space, has elevated Swarna Latha to Senior Vice President – People & Culture. With over 16 years of experience in human resources, organisational development, talent management and employee engagement, Latha brings expertise in people strategy and workforce development.
Before her elevation, Latha served as Vice President – People & Culture at Skyroot Aerospace from February 2025 to August 2026. Based in Hyderabad, she was part of the company’s senior HR leadership team, supporting organisational development and employee-focused initiatives. Her promotion marks an expansion of her leadership responsibilities as the company continues to develop its aerospace engineering and launch technology capabilities.
Earlier, Latha spent over 4 years at ALPLA Group, progressing from Regional Human Resource Manager to Senior Regional HR Manager. She gained experience in regional HR operations, compensation and benefits, organisational effectiveness and team management, supporting the company’s people-related priorities across India.
Before joining ALPLA Group, she worked as Manager – HR & Administration at Glochem Industries for around 4 years. Her responsibilities included HR administration, training and development, and team leadership.
Latha also served as Manager – HR at Fluentgrid Limited in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Before that, she worked as Assistant Manager – HR & Administration at Atria Convergence Technologies, where she gained experience in HR operations and administrative management within the technology and telecommunications services sector.
She began her professional career at P.B.L Transport, serving as Assistant Manager – HR from 2010 to December 2014.
Her career across P.B.L Transport, Atria Convergence Technologies, Fluentgrid, Glochem Industries, ALPLA Group and Skyroot Aerospace reflects her progression from HR administration to senior people leadership. She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Kasturba Gandhi Degree & PG College for Women.
In her new role as Senior Vice President – People & Culture, Latha will bring her experience in workforce management, talent development and organisational effectiveness to support Skyroot Aerospace’s people strategy and workplace culture.
