Jack Henry has appointed Ruth Tilley as Chief People Officer, bringing an experienced HR leader to oversee the people function at the financial technology company, which serves around 7,500 community and regional banks and credit unions.
Tilley joins Jack Henry from RealPage, where she served as Senior Vice President, HR Business Partner. Her experience spans HR business partnering, talent strategy, organisational design, change management, leadership development, talent acquisition and rewards.
Before RealPage, Tilley spent several years at McKesson, holding leadership roles including Vice President, HR Business Partner; Senior Director, Talent Delivery Leader; and Director, HR Business Partner.
As Vice President and Head of HR supporting Enterprise Finance at McKesson, she worked closely with the company’s EVP and CFO on people strategy across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
Her responsibilities covered talent strategy, organisational design, change management, succession planning, organisational culture and executive leadership development.
Tilley also worked across enterprise talent acquisition and delivery, organisational integration, employee engagement, diversity representation and high-potential talent development. Earlier in her McKesson career, she supported senior leaders across finance, marketing, product strategy, customer service and integration management, including organisational design initiatives linked to business integration.
Before McKesson, Tilley was Head of Human Resources at American Homecare and served on its Executive Leadership Team. She led areas including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning, payroll and employee engagement.
Her earlier career included compensation and recruitment leadership at Virginia Community College System, compensation roles at Circuit City and Federal Reserve Information Technology, and HR experience at Media General.
Tilley holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond.
