Oppo is preparing to expand its F-series lineup in India with 2 new 5G smartphones, with the company confirming an October 5 launch date and revealing key design and camera details.
The lineup will include the Oppo F35 5G and Oppo F35 Pro 5G. The standard model will feature a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module on the rear, while the Pro model will use a rectangular camera island similar to its predecessor. Both phones will have dual rear cameras.
The Oppo F35 5G is expected to be available in at least a white colour option, while the F35 Pro 5G will come in an orange shade. Both devices will have flat rear panels, with the power and volume buttons placed on the right side and a clean left edge.
The company has also confirmed a 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera on the front of the F35 series. It will offer a 100-degree field of view and NaturalTone 2.0. The Oppo F35 Pro 5G will also support video recording at up to 4K.
Other launch details, including pricing, availability and chipsets, have not yet been revealed and are expected closer to the October 5 launch.
Earlier details suggest the Oppo F35 5G could be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 SoC, while the F35 Pro 5G may use an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset.
Both models are also expected to feature an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.
