Ai+ is expanding its tablet lineup in India with a new Nova-series model. The company has teased its second tablet in the country, revealing its design, display, chipset, camera setup and connectivity details ahead of the launch.
A dedicated microsite confirms that the new tablet will arrive in India soon. While the exact product name is not stated on the page, its URL indicates that it will be marketed as the Ai+ Nova Tab. The tablet will be sold through Flipkart and will be available in at least an orange colour option.
The Ai+ Nova Tab will feature a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera module in the top-right corner. The company logo will sit at the centre in white. Up front, the tablet will have a flat display with rounded, relatively thick bezels.
The right side will house a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port, while another speaker grille and 2 unspecified buttons will be placed on the left side.
Under the hood, the tablet will use an octa-core Unisoc T760 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. It will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will feature an 11.97-inch touchscreen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.
For cameras, the Nova Tab will have a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options will include 5G and Wi-Fi.
The upcoming tablet follows the Ai+ PulseTab, the company’s first tablet in India, launched in April at a starting price of Rs. 9,999. It features a 10.95-inch Full-HD display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness. The PulseTab is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
