iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max orders now show October delivery dates

Demand for Apple’s latest iPhone Pro models appears to be pushing delivery timelines beyond the September 18 launch date in India, the US and several other markets. Customers placing orders after the initial preorder window may now have to wait until October for their devices.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max were unveiled at Apple’s ‘Surprise and shine’ event last week. Preorders opened after the launch, while store availability was set for September 18. Customers who ordered early are still expected to receive their devices on that date, when Apple Stores are also expected to have initial stock.

However, delivery estimates have started shifting following the first days of sales. In India, the Apple online store currently lists the iPhone 18 Pro with an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6 across all colours and storage variants.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a later estimated delivery window of October 6 to October 11 in India. The timeline applies to all colour and storage configurations. Customers ordering the Pro Max now could therefore wait nearly a month after the September 18 launch to receive the handset.

The US is seeing a similar trend. The iPhone 18 Pro currently shows an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is listed for delivery between October 6 and October 13. These estimates also apply across all available colours and storage options.

In several regions, the smaller iPhone 18 Pro has a shorter estimated wait. However, depending on the final date within the delivery window, customers could still receive the device in October.

Both models are available with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options. In India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs. 1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs. 1,79,900.

The 2 models are offered in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black.
