MediBuddy has appointed Shalabh Shrivastava as Head of Operations, bringing more than 2 decades of experience in building and scaling high-volume operations across consumer technology, e-commerce, retail and consulting.
Shrivastava most recently led product, design and operations for Swiggy’s driver organisation, supporting one of India’s largest hyperlocal delivery networks. At MediBuddy, he will focus on strengthening operating systems and processes across the company’s expanding healthcare network, with an emphasis on technology-led automation and execution.
The appointment comes as MediBuddy enters a new phase of growth. The company reported its first EBITDA-positive quarter in Q4 FY26, with an annual revenue run rate of more than ₹1,500 crore. Online consultations also grew by more than 90% year-on-year during the quarter.
Satish Kannan, Co-founder and CEO, MediBuddy, said, “We are delighted to welcome Shalabh to MediBuddy at an important point in our journey. At MediBuddy, customer obsession and execution excellence are central to how we build and operate. As we scale, strong ownership, deep problem-solving, and high standards of execution become increasingly important.”
Before Swiggy, Shrivastava spent more than 10 years at Flipkart, holding leadership roles across first-mile, last-mile and third-party logistics before becoming VP & National Head of Large & Furniture Supply Chain. He led 10X-scale transformation initiatives across Flipkart’s small-parcel last-mile network and end-to-end volumetric supply chain.
Earlier, he held roles at Reliance Retail, Cognizant and Ernst & Young. At Reliance Retail, he worked across loyalty, analytics and CRM.
Shrivastava said, “What Satish and Enba have built at MediBuddy is both ambitious and meaningful. They have created a platform that brings together multiple parts of the healthcare ecosystem with the larger goal of making quality care more accessible.”
He added that MediBuddy’s vision and the opportunity to contribute to its next phase attracted him to the company, while his consumer technology experience had reinforced the importance of thoughtful execution at scale.
MediBuddy serves more than 37 million lives and over 1,200 corporates, with a network of more than 140,000 doctors, thousands of hospitals and clinics, over 7,700 diagnostic centres and more than 10,000 pharmacies.
Shrivastava holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur.
At MediBuddy, he will focus on strengthening operational depth, leadership and technology-led execution as the company scales its healthcare delivery network.
