Cloud-based ERP provider Acumatica has strengthened its presence in India by opening a new global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The centre is aimed at accelerating product innovation and supporting the company’s regional growth.

The Hyderabad GCC has started operations with 30 employees, with more hires expected in the coming months. It becomes part of Acumatica’s global operations across the U.S., Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka.

The centre will initially focus on engineering. Over time, Acumatica plans to expand its scope into additional functions, creating more opportunities to support its continued growth in the region.

Acumatica Chief Engineering Officer Miten Mehta said the Hyderabad GCC will serve as the core of the company’s growth engine in India.

The centre has been established in partnership with ANSR company Summit Consulting Services.

The Hyderabad GCC is expected to strengthen Acumatica’s engineering capabilities while creating a base for the company to expand its operations and workforce in India.
