Gulf Bank has appointed Hamed AlTamimi as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), marking a major milestone in his more than 18-year journey with the bank.
In his new role, he will lead the bank’s people strategy, talent development, organizational capability, workforce planning, and HR transformation initiatives to support Gulf Bank’s continued growth and digital transformation.
Hamed began his career at Gulf Bank in Corporate Loans and Syndications Operations, where he managed corporate and international lending operations, operational excellence, risk reporting, customer service, and regulatory compliance. Over the years, he progressed through several leadership roles, including Assistant Manager, Compensation & Benefits Manager, and Senior Manager – Workforce Planning & Business Intelligence, building expertise in workforce planning, HR analytics, and compensation strategy.
He later advanced into strategic HR leadership, serving as Executive Manager and Head of Talent Acquisition and People Analytics, where he led talent acquisition, workforce planning, and people analytics initiatives to strengthen the bank’s talent strategy and data-driven HR decision-making. He was subsequently promoted to Assistant General Manager, Acting General Manager, and General Manager in August 2026, before being appointed Chief Human Resources Officer.
Before joining Gulf Bank, Hamed worked at the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, where he held roles as a teller, account officer, and sales executive. He also served as Partner and Executive Manager at Adone International General Trading Company, gaining valuable commercial and leadership experience.
With expertise spanning human resources, workforce planning, business intelligence, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, people analytics, corporate banking operations, organizational development, and leadership transformation, Hamed brings extensive experience to his expanded leadership role.
