Strengthening its focus on digital innovation and enterprise transformation, ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (India) (STT GDC India) has appointed Dr. Satish S. Doiphode as Vice President – Head Digital Transformation.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s digital transformation initiatives and drive technology-led business transformation across the enterprise.
Dr. Doiphode will be responsible for advancing the organization’s use of artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, process automation, digital platforms, big data analytics, and data-driven decision-making. His focus will be on improving operational performance, enhancing organizational agility, strengthening customer experience, and creating long-term value for stakeholders.
He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across digital transformation, engineering, information technology, automation, enterprise architecture, and large-scale EPC project execution. Before joining STT GDC India, he served as Vice President – RPMG IT and Automation at Reliance Industries Limited, where he led digital transformation programs for multi-billion-dollar oil and gas EPC projects. He drove the deployment of AI, Digital Twins, SmartPlant systems, RFID-enabled automation, and integrated digital engineering platforms. Earlier, as Senior General Manager – RPMG IT and Automation, he led enterprise-wide IT frameworks, engineering automation, SmartPlant Construction implementation, and digital business transformation initiatives.
Before Reliance Industries, Dr. Doiphode was IT Software Group Head (Senior Manager – Information Technology) at Uhde India Pvt. Ltd. (ThyssenKrupp Technologies). There, he established engineering application centers of excellence, led SAP integration projects, strengthened IT governance, and supported global EPC programs. He also served as Project Manager at Larsen & Toubro Infotech, leading ERP implementation, SAP integration, and engineering digitization initiatives for global clients.
Earlier in his career, he held engineering leadership roles at General Electric – Power India Business Center, where he drove Six Sigma quality improvements and product engineering initiatives. He also spent nearly 10 years at Larsen & Toubro Limited, leading new product development, manufacturing process innovation, SAP documentation, and mechanical engineering programs.
With deep expertise in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, AI, cloud computing, EPC automation, Digital Twins, engineering systems, and operational technology integration, Dr. Doiphode is set to lead STT GDC India’s next phase of digital growth.
