Oppo is preparing to add a new model to its A series, with the Oppo A7 Pro Max set to arrive in China next month. The company has confirmed the launch date, colour options and RAM and storage configurations, while pre-orders for the smartphone are already underway.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max will launch in China on August 4 at 2:30pm local time, or 12pm IST. The smartphone will be available in 3 colour options: Dark Mountains (black), Riding the Waves (blue), and The Future is Bright (orange), translated from Chinese.
The company has also confirmed 3 RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The phone is currently available for pre-order through the Oppo China online store.
In terms of design, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a flat rear panel with a rectangular camera module positioned at the top. The back will also have a 3D embossed texture. The phone is shown with a dual rear camera setup alongside an LED flash, while the Oppo branding is placed at the bottom.
The right side of the handset will house the power button and volume controls. A USB Type-C port, speaker grille and SIM tray will be placed along the bottom edge.
At the front, the phone will feature a flat display with a centred hole-punch cutout at the top, expected to house the selfie camera for photos and video calls.
Oppo has already confirmed that the A7 Pro Max will pack a 10,000mAh battery, making it the largest battery featured in an Oppo A series handset. The smartphone was also recently spotted on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, offering a peak clock speed of 2.40GHz.
More specifications are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
