Jagadeswar Rao Palla joins Taj Hotels as Director of Human Resources

Taj Hotels has appointed Jagadeswar Rao Palla to lead HR for the upcoming property, strengthening its leadership team as it prepares for the launch of a new Taj property.

In his new role, Jagadeswar will lead the human resources function for the pre-opening hotel, overseeing talent acquisition, organisational culture, employee engagement, leadership development, and people strategy to support a successful launch and long-term business growth.

Before this appointment, Jagadeswar served as Cluster Human Resources Manager for Vivanta Goa Panaji & Vivanta Goa Miramar, following his role as Human Resources Manager at Taj Tirupati. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving HR initiatives and strengthening people practices across the properties.

Earlier in his career, he led the HR function for the pre-opening of Radisson RED Chandigarh and Courtyard by Marriott Madurai. He also contributed to the reopening of Four Points by Sheraton Visakhapatnam following the Starwood–Marriott merger. Through these assignments, he gained extensive experience in hospitality HR, hotel pre-openings, talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development.

With more than 14 years of experience across leading hospitality brands, Jagadeswar brings strong expertise in hotel pre-openings, HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership development, organisational culture, and people operations. His appointment positions him to support Taj Hotels’ continued growth and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
