Procol, an Agentic AI platform for procurement and finance, has appointed Shaivya Gupta as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

In his new role, he will lead the company’s global marketing, brand, and communications strategy while strengthening its market positioning and supporting expansion into key international markets, including the United States.

The appointment comes during a significant phase of growth for the company. Procol has achieved 5x growth over the past 2 years and is now targeting 300% growth over the next year. The company plans to achieve this by expanding its enterprise presence across the United States and India, while continuing to invest in market expansion, customer success, and strategic partnerships.

Commenting on his appointment, Shaivya Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer at Procol, said, “I’m taking on this role at a defining moment for enterprise procurement. AI is transforming the function from a transactional, back-office operation into a strategic driver of business value, enabling enterprises to make faster, more intelligent and data-driven decisions. Procol has built an Agentic AI platform that is reimagining how procurement operates, and my focus is on strengthening our market presence, building deeper engagement with enterprise leaders, and ensuring Procol leads the conversation around the future of AI-powered procurement in India and global markets.”

In his new role, Gupta will focus on enhancing customer engagement, scaling brand and demand-generation initiatives, and expanding Procol’s presence across strategic enterprise markets to support its long-term growth objectives.

Over the years, Procol has evolved from an e-auction platform into a comprehensive Agentic AI-powered Source-to-Pay platform. Today, it serves more than 200 enterprises across 10 countries and helps organizations manage over US$30 billion in enterprise spending.

As enterprises increasingly adopt AI-first operations, Procol said it will continue investing in technology, talent, and leadership to advance autonomous, intelligent procurement workflows.
