Deloitte India and South Asia has reappointed Romal Shetty as Chief Executive Officer for a second term, reaffirming its confidence in his leadership as the firm continues to drive growth, innovation, and strategic priorities across the region.
In his continued role, Romal will oversee Deloitte’s business transformation, client services, and long-term expansion while strengthening the firm’s presence across India and South Asia.
Before becoming Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte South Asia, Romal served as President – Deloitte Consulting in India and has been a Partner at Deloitte since 2017. During his leadership, he has played a key role in advancing the firm’s consulting capabilities and business growth.
Earlier in his career, Romal held several leadership positions at KPMG India, including Chief Operating Officer – Advisory, Partner – National Head of Telecom and Co-head of Governance, and Director – Risk Advisory Services. He also held roles at EY, Arthur Andersen & Co., and PwC India, building nearly 30 years of experience in consulting, governance, and business transformation.
His reappointment reflects Deloitte India and South Asia’s continued focus on strengthening leadership, accelerating innovation, and supporting long-term growth across the region.
