Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 tipped for launch after Google app listing

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE smartphone and Galaxy Tab S12 tablet have reportedly appeared in an internal Google app listing, suggesting that their official launch could be approaching. The devices were reportedly found in a list of products eligible for a complimentary trial of Google’s premium AI subscription.

According to the report, the devices were listed as “S26 FE” and “Tab S12”, without the Galaxy branding. While the listing does not reveal any specifications, it indicates that Samsung may be preparing to introduce both products soon. The same list also reportedly includes the unannounced Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series in September last year. Based on that timeline, the Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 are also expected to debut around September.

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to arrive as a more affordable version of the Galaxy S26. It is rumoured to feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, 12GB RAM, and Android 17. The smartphone is also expected to include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and an IP68-rated design.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S12 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The tablet is also rumoured to launch alongside the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
