YoLearn.ai, a voice-first AI tutoring platform, has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round at a valuation of $5 million. The round was co-led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from a group of angel investors.
The company said the fresh capital will be used to scale its AI tutoring products, including a voice-first audiovisual tutor with live sketchpad capabilities, and expand its presence across India’s school education and competitive examination ecosystem.
Founded by Kirti Prakash Mishra in January 2025, YoLearn.ai offers a voice-first AI tutoring platform built around real-time audio conversations and an interactive sketchpad. The AI tutor can explain concepts verbally while simultaneously drawing diagrams and solving problems visually, replicating the experience of learning from a teacher at a whiteboard.
The platform supports K-12 education across NCERT, CBSE, ICSE and state board curricula. Most of its users are students in Grades 9–12, who are preparing for board examinations as well as competitive entrance tests such as JEE, NEET and CUET. According to the company, its content is mapped with 100% syllabus accuracy, while the AI tutor personalises explanations based on each student’s learning pace, preferred language and knowledge gaps.
YoLearn.ai supports voice interactions in 22 Indian languages, including Hindi and Hinglish. It also offers AI tutor personas inspired by popular educators, along with AI Avatar versions of real teachers for partner schools.
The platform is available through its web application, yolearn.ai, as well as Android and iOS apps under the name YoTutor.ai. Across all platforms, the company has surpassed 200,000 cumulative users.
YoLearn.ai competes with AI-powered education platforms including SiglQ.AI, Fermi.AI, Arivihan.AI, CK-12, MagicSchool.AI and Lytmus.AI.
