With 25+ years of leadership experience across the Middle East and Asia, Moustafa has held senior technology roles at ADCB and Al Hilal Bank. His appointment marks an important milestone in NBF’s technology transformation journey as the bank continues to expand its digital capabilities and accelerate business growth.
Throughout his career, Moustafa has led large-scale technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity and operations initiatives across the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Japan. As CIO, he will work closely with business and executive leadership teams to align technology with business priorities, drive innovation, strengthen cyber resilience, optimize operating models and deliver measurable business outcomes.
His expertise includes core banking transformation, cloud adoption, digital platforms, ERP and CRM implementation, data and analytics, automation and AI-driven innovation. These initiatives have helped improve customer engagement, increase operational efficiency, accelerate time-to-market and support sustainable business growth across multiple markets.
Moustafa also brings extensive experience in technology strategy, digital banking, enterprise architecture, cloud operating models, mergers and acquisitions, technology operations, regulatory compliance and data-driven transformation. He has played a key role in building secure, scalable and resilient technology ecosystems while enhancing customer experiences across digital channels.

He remains focused on building high-performing teams, fostering innovation and strengthening collaboration between business and technology functions.
