Scott brings more than 25 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, executive leadership, and capital markets. His career spans Wall Street, publicly listed companies, and leadership roles in the life sciences and medical device industries.
Commenting on the appointment, Marques McCammon, President and Chief Executive of Karma Automotive, said, “Scott brings the blend of entrepreneurial and public markets experience that Karma needs for the next chapter in our company’s journey.”
Scott began his career at Lehman Brothers, working within the Healthcare and Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking groups. During his tenure, he played a key role in executing nearly $4 billion in financings and strategic transactions for life sciences companies, building extensive expertise in capital markets, transaction structuring, and investor relations.
Most recently, Scott served for more than 10 years as Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Executive Officer of Viveve. During that period, he helped raise over $250 million through public and private equity funding, expanded institutional investor engagement, and guided the company through multiple phases of growth as both a private and public enterprise.
His previous leadership experience also includes serving as CFO of Vericel Corporation and as CFO and COO of Prescient Medical.
Scott holds a master’s degree with Honors from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.
