Nationwide launches Hyderabad GCC to strengthen technology and business operations in India

Strengthening its global operations strategy, Nationwide has established a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, further expanding its technology and business operations footprint in India.

The new centre will support both technology and business functions, with Hyderabad selected for its strong talent ecosystem and growing enterprise landscape. To drive workforce expansion, Arun Prasad has been appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition and will oversee hiring across technology, operations, and related business functions.

Nationwide’s move reflects a wider industry trend, with financial services and insurance companies continuing to scale their GCC presence in India. As organisations look to enhance operational efficiency and access specialised talent, India is increasingly emerging as a preferred destination for distributed capability delivery.
