Recognizing his contributions to India’s startup ecosystem and the growth of its entrepreneur-focused initiatives, Razorpay has promoted Nipun Jain to Senior Director – Business Management at Razorpay Rize. The elevation marks another key milestone in his journey with the company and reflects his role in building and scaling programs designed to support emerging startups and founders.
Nipun has been associated with Razorpay for more than 3 years and has played a central role in the expansion of Razorpay Rize, the company’s startup-focused platform. Prior to this promotion, he served as Director of Business Management – Razorpay Rize, where he led business strategy, product development, go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and community-building efforts. During this period, he helped strengthen startup acquisition and retention through innovative engagement programs while contributing to the broader startup ecosystem in India.
Earlier, he held the position of Associate Director – Razorpay Rize and was instrumental in building the platform from the ground up. Under his leadership, Razorpay Rize introduced several founder-focused initiatives and developed a strong community of early-stage entrepreneurs across multiple sectors.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Nipun is an active Private Investor, supporting emerging startups through angel investments. He is also associated with the School of Human Intelligence as a Storyteller and Mentor, sharing insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, human intelligence, and personal growth. Over the years, he has spoken at platforms including TEDx, Startup India, IIT Delhi, ISB, Christ University, and various entrepreneurial forums.
Before joining Razorpay, Nipun held leadership roles at Pickrr, serving as Associate Vice President – Business & Growth and Entrepreneur in Residence – Growth & Strategic Partnerships. He contributed to enterprise growth, strategic partnerships, and business expansion initiatives during a transformative phase for the company, including its acquisition by Shiprocket.
Earlier in his career, he founded and led Natty Niños, a children-focused services and events venture, where he spent several years building and scaling the business. His entrepreneurial background, combined with experience at Outline India and Max Life Insurance, provided him with expertise across business strategy, operations, customer engagement, research, and growth leadership.
Nipun’s promotion highlights Razorpay’s commitment to recognizing leaders who drive innovation, customer success, and ecosystem development. His leadership is expected to further strengthen Razorpay Rize’s mission of empowering startups and entrepreneurs across India.
