This promotion recognizes Latha’s significant contributions to leadership talent acquisition, strategic human resources management, and organizational growth during her more than 14-year tenure with the company.

The promotion highlights Virtusa’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership talent ecosystem and acknowledges Latha’s role in building and scaling executive hiring capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region. Over the years, she has played a key part in supporting the company’s growth through leadership hiring, strategic talent acquisition, and HR transformation initiatives.

In her current capacity, Latha leads the Executive and Leadership Hiring function across the APAC and ANZ regions. She oversees recruitment strategies for senior leadership positions spanning delivery, consulting, and sales functions. She has also been instrumental in establishing and expanding Virtusa’s leadership hiring framework, creating structured processes that have supported the company’s evolution into a multi-billion-dollar global technology services organization.

Before moving into executive hiring, Latha managed Human Resources for several strategic business units and horizontal functions within Virtusa. In this role, she gained extensive experience across performance management, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, workforce strategy, retention programs, HR automation, and organizational effectiveness.

Throughout her career at Virtusa, she has worked closely with business and HR leaders to provide strategic guidance on talent management, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational growth. Her efforts have contributed to strengthening people practices while supporting the company’s expansion across multiple markets.

Prior to joining Virtusa, Latha spent nearly 6 years with Hexaware Technologies as Manager – Human Resources. As an HR Business Partner, she led several key HR initiatives, including performance management system automation, rewards and recognition programs, mentoring frameworks, and retention strategies for high-potential employees. She also served as an HR consultant for a strategic client, helping design and implement HR operating procedures.

Earlier, she worked with Sopra Steria as a Resource Specialist, where she managed end-to-end recruitment for multiple business units and developed expertise in large-scale hiring and workforce ramp-up initiatives.

She began her professional journey with Exclusive Search Recruitment Consultants as Team Lead, overseeing IT recruitment operations and managing recruitment teams across various technology domains.

With more than 20 years of experience across executive recruitment, leadership hiring, HR business partnering, talent management, workforce strategy, and organizational effectiveness, Latha has built a strong reputation as a talent and people leader. Her promotion reflects both her long-standing contribution to Virtusa and her impact on shaping leadership talent strategies within the technology industry.
