Navin Fluorine (NFIL) strengthens people leadership with Vinod Shetty’s appointment as CHRO

Before joining Navin Fluorine International Ltd. NFIL, Shetty served as Senior Director and Head of India HR & Communication at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he led the company’s HR and communication functions across its India operations.

Earlier, he was associated with Sanofi as Director – BHR (India MCO), overseeing HR for the pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare, and specialty Genzyme businesses, along with global support functions across India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Shetty also spent more than 4 years at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as Vice President – HR & Global Sales Training for India, the Middle East, and Africa. During this period, he led HR and sales training initiatives across multiple international markets, contributed to global HR strategy, and played a key role in capability-building and long-term learning programs.

Prior to Glenmark, he worked with Pfizer for over 8 years as Group Lead – HR for India and Vietnam, managing regional HR leadership responsibilities and supporting workforce development initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Shetty was associated with Tata Donnelley, where he led HR operations for a major manufacturing facility, focusing on industrial relations, employee engagement, and productivity improvement.

With leadership experience spanning the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, Shetty is expected to play a key role in advancing NFIL’s people strategy and organizational growth agenda.
