The appointment comes during a period of accelerated growth for Ironclad, which has recently added senior leaders from companies including Google, Snowflake, and Docusign. The company has also received recognition from Fast Company, Forbes, and Fortune for its workplace culture and AI-focused innovation.
Speaking about his new role, Jordan said Ironclad’s collaborative culture and strong focus on innovation stood out during the interview process. He described the opportunity to lead talent strategy at a consistently recognized workplace as a chance to further enhance organizational growth, employee engagement, and innovation.
As part of the leadership transition, former Chief People Officer Ambrosia Vertesi will move into a new internal role focused on strategic people initiatives.
Before joining Ironclad, Jordan spent nearly 5 years at Asana, most recently serving as SVP, Head of Talent, Learning, and Strategy. There, he led talent management, employee relations, culture, workforce planning, and organizational strategy initiatives while embedding an AI-first approach across people operations.
He also briefly served as Interim Chief People Officer at Asana, overseeing the company’s global people function and advancing AI-enabled workforce strategies during a period of transformation.
Earlier in his career, Jordan spent more than 7 years at HP, including as SVP, Global Head of Talent and Learning, where he led talent development, succession planning, executive leadership programs, workforce transformation, and learning initiatives for the company’s 60,000-employee global workforce.
His professional experience also includes leadership roles at DigitalGlobe, Janus Capital Group, Verizon Wireless, and consulting assignments with Sony and Shell Oil. Throughout his career, he has built expertise in organizational design, leadership development, change management, talent transformation, and workforce strategy.
