Motorola is preparing to expand its Edge 70 smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+. The company has started teasing the new device, while a dedicated microsite on Flipkart has also gone live, revealing key details about the phone’s design, colour variants and availability.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to become the 4th smartphone in the Edge 70 series. Although the microsite does not directly mention the phone’s name, the device name reportedly appears in the page URL.
The teaser confirms that the smartphone will be available in India in 3 colour options — brown, red and teal. Each colour variant is said to feature a different texture and finish, including sculpted wood, satin-luxe and twill-inspired designs.
In terms of design, the Edge 70 Pro+ appears similar to the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. The handset features a square-shaped rear camera module with a triple-camera setup and LED flash. Motorola has also confirmed the presence of a Sony LYT sensor with an 81mm focal length and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The smartphone is also expected to include a metal frame, while the power button and volume controls are positioned on the right side of the device. On the front, the phone is teased with a hole-punch display design for selfies and video calls.
Recent reports suggest the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ could arrive with several upgrades over the Pro variant. The device is tipped to feature a dedicated telephoto camera, wireless charging support and up to 16GB RAM.
For comparison, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro was launched in India on April 22 at a starting price of ₹41,999 for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant.
The Edge 70 Pro comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset and packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. It also features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, alongside a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a third rear sensor.
