Sagar Mehta joins Workday to lead enterprise sales growth and digital transformation initiatives in India

Sagar brings extensive experience across customer experience, CRM, digital transformation, and enterprise technology solutions. He is known for helping organizations drive growth through technology-led business transformation and customer-centric strategies.

Commenting on his new role, Sagar shared that after an enriching journey in the CX and CRM ecosystem, he is excited to apply his experience in a new environment and continue supporting businesses through innovative enterprise solutions. He also highlighted the importance of combining strong technology capabilities with a people-first culture, noting that his move to Workday aligns closely with those values.

Before joining Workday, Sagar spent more than 5 years with Oracle. Most recently, he served as Country Sales Director – Oracle Customer Experience Business in India, where he led the company’s CX business across the country. In this role, he managed large enterprise deals, recurring revenue growth, renewals, and strategic collaborations with partners, pre-sales, and sales teams.

During his tenure at Oracle, he also worked as Director – Solutions Engineering, CX Applications, contributing to enterprise customer engagement and digital transformation initiatives across multiple industries.

Prior to Oracle, Sagar was associated with Adobe as Digital Strategist, where he partnered with leading Indian conglomerates and brands to support their digital transformation journeys. His work included advising senior leadership teams on digital analytics, content management, campaign management, commerce, personalization, and customer data platform strategies aligned with business objectives.

Earlier in his career, Sagar spent nearly 5 years at Flytxt in several leadership positions, including Engagement Director – Vodafone India, Head – Specialized Consulting, and Principal Marketing Consultant. He led consulting and delivery teams while developing transformation strategies and analytics-driven customer value management solutions for telecom operators.

His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Idea Cellular, Tata Docomo Business Services, and Reliance Communications, where he managed telecom product portfolios, business operations, and customer engagement functions.
