This decision was approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on April 21, 2026, reinforcing leadership continuity as the company continues its steady growth trajectory.
Padalkar has served as MD & CEO for nearly 8 years, during which she has driven strategic growth, operational discipline, and long-term value creation. Under her leadership, the company achieved key milestones, including its landmark listing in 2017 and one of the earliest merger and acquisition transactions in India’s life insurance sector.
Before taking on the CEO role, she spent over 10 years at HDFC Life as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer, where she played a critical role in strengthening financial systems and governance frameworks.
Earlier, Padalkar served as Executive Vice President – Finance at WNS Global Services, leading global finance operations, including SEC reporting, international taxation, treasury, and SOX compliance. She also contributed to the company’s successful US IPO, global expansion, and multiple acquisitions.
She began her career at Colgate-Palmolive, working across corporate finance and reporting in India and international markets, building a strong foundation in financial management and strategy.

Padalkar has received significant industry recognition. She has been featured multiple times in Business Today’s ‘Most Powerful Women in Business’ and Fortune India’s prestigious lists. She was also named ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ at The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence 2025. Her industry contributions include active engagement with the Life Insurance Council and the broader financial services ecosystem.
Padalkar is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, reflecting strong global financial expertise.
