In a notable shift towards user-driven innovation, Samsung is integrating advanced AI upgrades into its upcoming Galaxy S26 series, with key contributions coming from its India-based R&D team.
The Noida R&D centre is playing a major role by converting real user feedback into new features. Inputs collected from the Samsung Members community and service centres are being used to shape software updates, ensuring that Indian user habits influence global product development.
Noida team drives feature innovation
The team in Noida is not limited to backend development. It is actively working on features such as Privacy Display and improved call screening for the Galaxy S26 series.
The team has also expanded language support. It started with Hindi and now includes Gujarati, reflecting Samsung’s effort to make its technology more locally relevant.
By combining on-device AI with cloud-based capabilities, the Noida team is helping improve both user privacy and device performance. This approach aims to deliver smarter and more efficient experiences for users globally.
