Expanding its portfolio of performance-focused wearables, Amazfit has introduced the Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch in the US, targeting marathon runners and serious fitness users with advanced tracking capabilities and a durable design.
The smartwatch features a lightweight build with a Grade 5 titanium frame and sapphire glass protection, paired with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display offering 466 x 466 resolution and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness for clear outdoor visibility. It comes with a circular dial, aluminium alloy buttons, a plastic bezel, and includes four physical buttons, a speaker, microphone, linear motor, and 32GB internal storage. The device also carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating and a dual-mode flashlight.
Designed for precision tracking, the watch supports dual-band GPS along with 6 satellite positioning systems. It includes Bluetooth, BLE 5.3, and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connectivity, and works with Android 7.0+ and iOS 14.0+ via the Zepp app.
Fitness remains a key focus, with support for over 170 sports modes and advanced running metrics such as running power, lactate threshold, ground contact time, and virtual pacing. It also integrates structured training plans through Zepp Coach and connects with platforms like Strava, TrainingPeaks, Runna, and Google Fit.
Health tracking features include continuous monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, and skin temperature. It also tracks sleep stages, heart rate variability, breathing quality, and offers menstrual cycle tracking along with guided breathing exercises.
The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is powered by a 540mAh battery, delivering up to 20 days of typical usage, 10 days with heavy use, and up to 8 days with always-on display enabled. In GPS mode, it offers up to 31 hours of battery life, extendable to 99 hours depending on usage. The device measures 48 x 48 x 13.2mm and weighs 45.6g without the strap.
Priced at $449.99 (approximately Rs. 49,100), the smartwatch is currently available in the US via official channels and select retail partners. There is no confirmation yet on its launch in India or other markets.
