Sushanta Kumar Mohanty has officially taken charge as Executive Director (ED) of the bank from April 15, 2026. Prior to this elevation, he was serving as Chief General Manager at Bank of Baroda.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Financial Services, his appointment as ED at Bank of Maharashtra is for a period of 3 years from the date he assumed office, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Mohanty brings strong experience across multiple banking domains. His expertise includes treasury operations, international banking credit, retail and corporate banking operations, as well as forex management.
