Nothing Phone 4a appears on BIS, indicating a launch in India soon

A new midrange smartphone from Nothing has surfaced through a fresh listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards website, indicating that the Nothing Phone 4a is on track for an India launch. The UK-based tech brand is expected to introduce upgrades over the Nothing Phone 3a, which arrived in India in March with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The current model offers a 6.7-inch display, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging.

Tipster, Sudhanshu Ambhore shared a BIS listing on X for an unannounced Nothing device carrying the model number A069. The tipster states that this device is the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a. The numbering appears consistent with previous models since the Nothing Phone 3a had the A059 model number and the Phone 3a Pro variant carried the A059P model number. The new listing reinforces speculation that Nothing is preparing its next generation midrange line-up.

The BIS entry is dated November 13 and does not reveal hardware features or design details of the Nothing Phone 4a. However, the listing indicates that the device has entered the regulatory process in India. This suggests that the launch could be near and the phone may arrive alongside a possible Nothing Phone 4a Pro variant sometime in the first quarter of 2026. The listing has created anticipation among consumers who are waiting for the next model in the series.
