Poco has unveiled the F8 series in select global markets. The lineup includes the Poco F8 Ultra and the Poco F8 Pro. The Ultra model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 6500 mAh battery. The Pro model uses the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and comes with a 6210 mAh battery. Both phones run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and feature speakers tuned by Bose.
Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra price and availability
The Poco F8 Pro is priced at 579 dollars for the 12 GB and 256 GB variant and 629 dollars for the 12 GB and 512 GB model. Under the early bird offer, the 12 GB and 256 GB option costs 529 dollars and the 12 GB and 512 GB variant costs 579 dollars.
The Poco F8 Ultra is available in Black and Denim Blue colours. The Poco F8 Pro comes in Black, Blue and Titanium Silver.
Poco F8 Ultra features and specifications
The Poco F8 Ultra has a 6.9 inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 480 Hz and peak brightness of 3500 nits. It supports HDR10 plus, Dolby Vision and the DCI P3 colour gamut. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The rear camera system includes a 50 megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5 times optical zoom and a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera. The front camera has a 32 megapixel sensor.
The phone has a 6500 mAh battery with 100 watt HyperCharge support. It offers 5G, Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and multiple satellite navigation systems. It also includes a Bose tuned 2.1 stereo setup and an in display fingerprint sensor.
Poco F8 Pro features and specifications
The Poco F8 Pro has a 6.59 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and peak brightness of 3500 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
The rear cameras include a 50 megapixel main camera with OPIS, a 50 megapixel telephoto camera with 2.5 times zoom and an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera has a 20 megapixel sensor.
The device has a 6210 mAh battery with 100 watt wired charging and 22.5 watt reverse wired charging. It comes with an IP68 rating and similar connectivity features as the Ultra model.
