In her new role, Seema will lead the company’s people strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives while overseeing leadership hiring and development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and ethics and governance.
Seema brings more than 35 years of experience across human resources, organizational development, leadership coaching, governance and business transformation. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at organizations including Mahindra Group, Carlsberg India, ZTE Telecom, Canon, Sony India, Nestlé, Motorola, and AT&T/Lucent Technologies. Her expertise spans talent management, organizational culture, leadership development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and enterprise governance.
Before joining ZOOM Communications, Seema served as HR Business Leader, Leadership Coach, Organization Development Consultant, and Certified Independent Director at Leading Edge–People Consulting. In this role, she advised organizations on leadership, governance, culture and organizational transformation while partnering with CEOs and senior leadership teams on business growth and people strategy. She also served as an ICF-ACC Leadership Coach and an MCA-certified Independent Director with expertise in ESG and BRSR.
Earlier, Seema spent nearly 12 years with the Mahindra Group, where she served as Vice President & Chief People Officer and Board of Director – Aero & Defence (Mahindra & Mahindra). She led strategic HR initiatives across multiple businesses and joint ventures, focusing on leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, governance and organizational readiness.
Prior to Mahindra, she held senior HR leadership positions as Head – HR at Carlsberg India, General Manager – HR at ZTE Telecom, Senior Manager – HR at Canon, and Manager – Employee Development & Training at Sony India. She also gained experience with AT&T/Lucent Technologies, Motorola, and Nestlé, building expertise across manufacturing, FMCG, telecom, aerospace, defence and consumer industries.
With her extensive leadership experience, Seema is expected to strengthen ZOOM Communications’ people strategy, leadership development, organizational culture and long-term talent agenda.
