Wealth management startup Zomint has raised Rs 36 crore ($3.75 million) in a seed funding round from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners to expand its operations and strengthen its investment services.

The company will use the fresh capital to grow its wealth management and investment teams, improve its technology platform and develop its investor education ecosystem.

Founded in September 2025 by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal, Zomint provides wealth management services to working professionals and families. The platform allows investors to begin with a monthly systematic investment plan (SIP) of Rs 25,000 or a lump sum investment of Rs 5 lakh.

Zomint assigns each family a dedicated wealth expert who monitors investments and tracks financial goals. These experts are supported by investment research and AI-enabled tools that consolidate portfolio information, previous conversations and research, identify areas requiring attention and monitor agreed actions.

The startup claims to have retained 97% of its clients since launch, despite market volatility. It also reported that nearly 1 in 3 clients made additional investments through the platform within 3 months of their initial engagement.

Currently, Zomint’s relationship managers serve more than 250 families each, with support from investment specialists and AI-powered tools. The model combines personalised financial guidance with technology-assisted portfolio monitoring and research.

The company has acquired all its customers through organic content so far. Its customer acquisition strategy draws on Bekifaayati, the founders’ financial content platform, which has more than 50 lakh subscribers.

With the latest funding, Zomint plans to strengthen its team and technology while expanding its personalised wealth management offering to more investors.
