Thomas Joseph takes over as Chief People Officer at WNS to lead global HR transformation

Thomas will lead the global people agenda for over 66,000 employees across 65+ locations, with a focus on intelligent operations, enterprise talent strategy, and seamless integration as the company advances its position as an AI-powered transformation partner.

In this role, Thomas will work on strengthening leadership capability, advancing DEI initiatives, and enabling large-scale organizational transformation across global markets.

Thomas has been with WNS for over 18 years and most recently served as Executive Vice President – Human Resources. During this time, he played a key role in shaping global HR strategy and led major transformation initiatives, including global rollouts of job architecture, leadership frameworks, and talent management systems. He also contributed to M&A integration efforts across multiple regions.

Earlier in his career, he worked as Deputy General Manager – HR at IBM Daksh, where he supported HR operations in a rapidly growing business environment.

He also served as Associate Vice President – HR at Tata Business Support Services Limited, contributing to HR strategies aligned with business growth and service delivery.

Thomas’s earlier experience includes roles at Capgemini Ernst & Young and as HR Partner at Tata Consultancy Services, where he gained expertise in talent management and HR business partnering.

With nearly 30 years of experience across business process management, manufacturing, and services, Joseph brings strong capabilities in organizational development, enterprise talent strategy, and global HR transformation.
