Vivo X500 Pro Max Tipped to Feature 8,000mAh Battery and Advanced Camera Setup

Vivo’s upcoming X500 series is already creating buzz months ahead of its expected launch later this year. Fresh leaks suggest that the top-end Vivo X500 Pro Max may arrive with the biggest battery ever seen in the company’s X-series lineup. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a next-generation MediaTek chipset and upgraded camera hardware.

According to a recent report, the Vivo X500 Pro Max could pack a massive 8,000mAh battery, which is currently said to be under testing. If true, it would become the largest battery ever used in a X-series smartphone. The device is also expected to run on the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, which may reportedly be based on a 2nm process similar to Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset.

For comparison, the Vivo X300 comes with a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro packs a 6,510mAh unit. The Vivo X300 Ultra features a 6,600mAh battery, whereas the X300 FE and X300s are backed by 6,500mAh and 7,100mAh batteries, respectively.

The Vivo X500 lineup is expected to include 3 models at launch. Leaks suggest the standard X500 may feature a 6.59-inch display, while the X500 Pro could come with a compact 6.31-inch screen. Meanwhile, the X500 Pro Max is tipped to sport a larger 6.85-inch display.

Camera upgrades are also expected on the Pro Max variant. The smartphone could feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology. It may also include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Vivo has not officially confirmed any of these details yet.
