Vivo is expanding its premium smartphone lineup in India with the X Fold 6, which will join the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE at the company’s October 6 launch event.
Vivo India has confirmed the foldable’s India debut through a social media teaser. While the post does not name the X Fold 6, the device shown matches the design of the book-style foldable launched by Vivo in China in June.
The teaser shows the X Fold 6 in a blue finish. It remains unclear whether other colour options will be offered in India. The company has also not revealed India-specific pricing or storage configurations.
Vivo X Fold 6 features and expected price
In China, the Vivo X Fold 6 starts at CNY 7,999, roughly ₹1,14,200, for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 10,999, roughly ₹1,58,300.
The foldable features an 8.02-inch inner AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.51-inch cover display. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset and runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold.
For photography, the device has a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system. It includes a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, along with 50-megapixel ultrawide and periscope telephoto cameras.
The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. It also carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device measures 4.40mm when unfolded and weighs around 228g.
Mixed reality headset also teased
Vivo’s launch teaser also appears to show a mixed reality headset. However, the company has not confirmed whether the device will be sold in India or only showcased at the event.
Its name, price, specifications and availability remain undisclosed.
