The latest addition to Vivo’s V-series brings a 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system. The Vivo V80 succeeds the Vivo V70, which was launched in February, and comes with a 7,200mAh battery.

Vivo V80 price and availability in India

The Vivo V80 starts at ₹62,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹69,999, while the 8GB + 512GB version costs ₹79,999.

The phone is available in Stellar Black, Horizon Blue and Sunrise Anthem colour options. It will go on sale in India from October 13 through Flipkart and the Vivo online store.

Launch offers include 10% instant cashback or a 10% exchange bonus. Buyers will also receive 100GB of Google One storage at no extra cost.

Vivo V80 specifications and features

The dual-SIM Vivo V80 runs Android 17-based OriginOS 7. It features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1,260 x 2,750-pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, P3 wide colour gamut and 459ppi pixel density. Vivo claims up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, while HBM brightness is rated at 1,800 nits.

The phone is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Its Zeiss-co-tuned triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera with autofocus, OIS and an f/1.88 aperture. It is joined by a 50-megapixel Zeiss night telephoto camera with autofocus, OIS and an f/2.65 aperture, plus an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 115-degree field of view.

For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 50-megapixel Zeiss Group Selfie Camera with autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture and a 92-degree field of view.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C with USB 2.0 support. The handset also features an infrared blaster, X-axis linear motor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and electronic compass.

The 7,200mAh battery supports 90W fast charging. The phone has IP68 + IP69-rated dust and water resistance, measures 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.69mm and weighs 203g.
