Vivo has officially announced that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will launch in India on July 16 at 12:00 PM IST. The upcoming T-series smartphone will be available through Flipkart and will arrive as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Lite 5G.

The company has confirmed that the handset will be offered in 2 colour options — Light Blue and Black — and will feature a dual rear camera setup.

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. This is a major upgrade over the 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging available on the Vivo T4 Lite 5G.

The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and come with military-grade durability, along with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Running on Origin OS 6 based on Android, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will include several AI-powered features such as AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents, and Private Space.

Dedicated product pages are now live on both Flipkart and Vivo India’s website, with the company confirming that additional hardware details will be revealed on July 11.

For comparison, the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, launched in June last year at a starting price of Rs. 9,999, featured a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 50MP dual rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and an IP64 dust and splash-resistant design.
