Indian IT major Tech Mahindra has been recognised for its leadership in artificial intelligence adoption in a new report released by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in partnership with Accenture. The report focuses on MINDS, or Meaningful, Intelligent, Novel Deployable Solutions, and highlights organisations using high-impact AI at scale.

The study features 20 global trailblazers, including companies such as AMD, Siemens, and PepsiCo. These organisations are applying AI to areas like disease detection, energy optimisation, and supply-chain resilience, among others.

The WEF–Accenture report reviewed hundreds of AI use cases across more than 30 countries and 20 industries, including healthcare, energy, and infrastructure. An independent Impact Council made up of senior executives and experts identified shared traits among the most effective deployments. These include embedding AI into strategic decision-making, redesigning work to support human–AI collaboration, strengthening data foundations, modernising technology platforms, and ensuring responsible governance.

The report was released during the WEF annual meeting 2026 and highlights AI applications that are already delivering measurable performance gains. It also points to a growing gap between organisations that have the capability to scale AI and those that continue to struggle with effective deployment. According to the findings, this gap can be narrowed by learning from proven, real-world AI implementations.

Tech Mahindra was recognised for its contribution in the social and public good category. The WEF report noted that the company successfully scaled multilingual large language models handling 3.8 million monthly queries with an accuracy rate of 92%. This work has supported the delivery of inclusive digital services across regions in the Global South.

The recognition places Tech Mahindra among a select group of organisations demonstrating how AI can be deployed responsibly and at scale, while delivering tangible benefits across sectors.
