Strengthening its long-standing relationship with ABB, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a new multi-million contract from the Swiss-Swedish industrial technology company. The agreement further expands the collaboration between the 2 companies, which has continued for more than 20 years.
Under the new contract, TCS will design, manage, and operate ABB’s global network ecosystem using AI-driven services. The company will also strengthen ABB’s digital infrastructure through its cybersecurity offerings.
TCS did not disclose the financial value of the contract or the duration of the agreement.
The latest deal builds on a partnership that has lasted for over 20 years. As part of its earlier work with ABB, TCS helped consolidate multiple accounting software systems into a single SAP platform, improving the company’s enterprise operations.
Following the announcement, TCS shares gained 5.5%, reaching ₹2,182 at 14:23 IST on Monday.
The new agreement highlights TCS’s continued focus on delivering AI-powered services and cybersecurity solutions to global enterprises while expanding its presence in large-scale digital transformation projects.
