Tapaswee succeeds Lisa Chang, who will step down after a 7-year tenure and continue as a senior advisor through the end of 2026.
Tapaswee currently serves as Senior Vice President and Executive Assistant to President and Chief Financial Officer John Murphy. Earlier, she was Senior Vice President of Global Talent, Development, and HR System Partnerships, where she led Coca-Cola’s global talent strategy and played a key role in the company’s HR leadership team.
She began her journey with Coca-Cola in 2001 in India and has since built a global career across Türkiye, South Africa, and the United States. Over the years, she has held multiple leadership roles across human resources, talent development, and organizational capability building, contributing to the company’s global people strategy.
Tapaswee also serves on the board of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages in India and is a member of the Board of Directors at Agnes Scott College in Georgia.
In her new role, Tapaswee will report directly to CEO Henrique Braun and lead the company’s global people agenda, focusing on talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
Lisa Chang, who has led the global HR function since 2019, will continue to support the company as a senior advisor and remain on the board of The Coca-Cola Foundation. Before joining Coca-Cola, she held senior HR roles at AMB Group LLC, Equifax, Turner Broadcasting System, and The Weather Channel Companies.
This transition highlights Coca-Cola’s continued focus on strengthening its global people strategy as it evolves into a more agile and talent-driven organization.
