A senior leadership appointment at Pressto India signals a focus on scaling operations and strengthening business strategy. Sumant Kasliwal brings wide ranging leadership experience across consumer, digital, and retail driven businesses.
Before joining Pressto India, Sumant served as Head of Private Label Business and Senior Vice President at Nykaa Fashion. In this role, he played a key part in shaping overall business strategy, driving revenue growth, and leading marketing and operational initiatives. His work supported the expansion and positioning of the fashion platform in a highly competitive market.
Earlier, Sumant Kasliwal was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of 20Dresses.com, a women focused online styling platform. The company was later acquired by Nykaa as part of its efforts to strengthen its digital and fashion portfolio. This entrepreneurial experience added depth to his understanding of brand building and customer focused digital businesses.
Sumant’s professional journey also includes senior leadership and investment roles across multiple sectors. He worked at ICICI Venture as Principal for Private Equity Investments, where he was involved in evaluating and managing investments. He also served at Microsoft as Head of Business Planning and Strategy for the Online Services Group. In addition, he held the position of Business Head and Vice President for New Media at Disney Star.
These roles have given him a strong foundation across private equity, technology, media, and consumer businesses. At Pressto India, his diverse experience is expected to support the company’s growth ambitions and strengthen its leadership across operations, strategy, and market expansion.
