Subramanian brings nearly 3 decades of experience across operations, human resources, technology, enterprise services, and financial services leadership.
Before taking on this new role, Subramanian served as Chief Operating Officer at SMFG India Credit. During his tenure, he led multiple critical functions, including credit underwriting, operations, technology, ESG, procurement, administration, HR, and customer service.
Over the years, Subramanian has held senior leadership positions with organisations such as Sterlite Power, Reliance Capital, J.P. Morgan, Barclays, Standard Chartered, and Accenture.
His broad experience across operations, governance, people strategy, and business transformation is expected to support SMBC Group’s leadership and operational growth initiatives in the financial services sector.
