Fresh developments suggest that Samsung’s upcoming XR glasses may be closer to reality, with new details emerging from software code hints.

Samsung’s Project Haean has been spotted in the One UI 9 code with the model number SM-O500. While earlier expectations pointed to a 2025 release, recent updates now indicate a possible launch timeline in 2026.

The smart glasses are rumored to feature transition lenses along with an in-lens display system. Reports also suggest the device could include multiple cameras and maintain a lightweight design of around 50 gm for better comfort.

In terms of connectivity, the glasses are expected to support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but not mobile data. The device may also introduce advanced features such as Galaxy AI-powered HUD information, gesture controls, and facial recognition.

Code references further hint at multiple variants of the product, suggesting that Samsung could expand its wearable technology lineup with different versions of the XR glasses.

If these features are confirmed, Project Haean could mark a significant step forward in Samsung’s wearable ecosystem.
